Reverting back to 6.510 solves the issue.

Is this a bug or a new feature by DVDinfopro?

Although the DVR217-F has not been the best scanner around, it did scan discs with reproduceable results so far. That's the reason why I purchased the full version of DVDinfoPro. Latest versions of Opti Drive Control still reliably supports the DVR-217F.
Once a PIPO scan has completed (I was just testing a DVD+R DL), the 'Speed' combobox isn't re-enabled. You have to click the 'Stop' button if you want to enable it again so you can change it.

Once a scan has completed, toggling the 'Show Speed', 'Show PIE', 'Show PIF', 'Show Jitter' buttons should add/remove the appropriate info to/from the graph being displayed - but it doesn't!
